Mixing

Ah, mixing. Is it an art or a science? Well, its both! There's lots of guidelines and rules to mixing, but there's also a lot of freedom to mix things your own way once you understand how everything properly works. This stage is massively important because every element needs its own space. The way you do that involves volume, EQ, compression, and much much more. 

Mixing your track correctly will set your track in the right direction to be picked up by labels and listened to on a professional level. It's what will give your track the ultimate listenability. This part is still very much a creative part of the process and truly one of my favorite parts of producing. Learning the rules and creating your own rules is what makes this part of the process fun.
